Light Ribbon

Testing out something I just finished making today. A 4' tube with RGB LEDs in it. Needs some more work, but shows promise.

I need to have a serious shoot with this. Too many other things on my plate recently.

Know how that is. But don't think we're not waiting!

I have worked on the light since I took this shot. The controller that came with the strip lights was a 44 key IR remote. So I had to have a direct line to the receiver on the light to activate it. The 44 key remote was actually limited. I could choose 3 or 7 colors but not the sequence to how the colors changed. I bought a WiFi module to replace the IR receiver that has an app for my phone. Much more control in that I can choose the color changing sequence as well as the exact time it takes to make the change. So 2 colors in a 6 second shot can get 3 seconds each.
