A couple decades ago I managed an independent camera store. Answering the 'phone, a lady began asking about taking a photo of the moon. When I asked what camera she was using, she replied: "A Canon Sure-shot." Suppressing my giggle I told her the camera would likely not give her very good results, as the lens was not telephoto and she wouldn't have enough lens speed for the moon to register an image. "Oh..." she replied and hung up. About ten minutes later she called back, saying she'd spoken with someone else and said: "they said I should use 'bounce flash.' Will that work?" sigh...

That could work. You just need to time your next photo exactly when the light hits the moon, about 4 minutes I think. The distance should allow a nice soft light over the entire surface.

And a resultant neg with a dead-center persistent "spot" that DustOff and a Static-Master brush seem to be useless against. smirk
